Consulting

CBAM consulting from the specialist who builds the software

Some CBAM questions need a person, not a screen: why the CBAM Registry shows fewer tonnes than you imported, what to ask your broker to correct, or how to get your suppliers to send real data. We answer them with your own customs data, and CBAM Wise does the data work, so you pay for advice, not for typing.

What we help with

CBAM cost and readiness check

Your CBAM goods, your 50-tonne status and your expected cost for the year, from one month or one year of your customs declarations. With a short list of what to do first.

Check against the CBAM Registry

Your declarations, SKAT's import specification and the Registry's customs data compared line by line. Every difference gets a reason: an anti-dumping additional code, a wrong or missing CBAM account number, a declaration not yet passed on.

Corrections with your broker and customs

A clear list per broker with the declaration numbers to amend, and well-founded questions to Toldstyrelsen and the Danish Energy Agency, sent to the right authority with the right examples.

Supplier data that lowers the cost

Which suppliers to ask first, what to ask them for, and a check of their answers before they replace the default values. Suppliers answer for free through CBAM Wise.

Authorised declarant and the 50 tonnes

Whether you need the authorisation, what your declarations must carry once you pass 50 tonnes (Y128 with your account number, not the de minimis code Y137), and how to brief your broker.

Annual declaration and certificates

Preparing your annual CBAM declaration, the certificate plan for 2027 with the quarterly holding, and a walk-through for your team and your broker.

Does the CBAM Registry match your imports?

Customs passes your import data to the CBAM Registry, and that is what your annual declaration is checked against. In real data we have found declarations that never arrived: goods items with an anti-dumping additional code, a CBAM account number typed wrongly by the broker, the de minimis code used in a year above 50 tonnes. A check now leaves time to correct them before the first declaration is due on 30 September 2027.

How we work

  1. 1

    A free 30-minute call

You tell us what you import and what worries you. If you like, send one month of customs declarations beforehand.

  2. 2

    A fixed scope and price

We agree in writing what we deliver, by when and at what price, before we start. No open-ended hours.

  3. 3

    Results you can act on

Your figures in CBAM Wise, every number with its rule and source, and a short list of who does what next: you, your broker, your suppliers.

What stays with you

You sign your own CBAM declaration and buy your certificates on the EU's Common Central Platform; we prepare and plan, we do not sign or buy for you. We are not a customs broker: amendments to customs declarations are applied for by you or your broker with Toldstyrelsen. We give guidance on the CBAM rules as they stand, with the legal source for each rule; the authorities have the final word.
